Live Webcast - President Ricardo Lagos of Chile News Conference
The News Conference by the President of the Republic of Chile, Ricardo Lagos, at the APEC Secretariat in Singapore on May 1 will be webcast live (April 30 in the Americas).
President Lagos will outline plans for APEC 2004 and the growing links between Chile and the Asian Region. President Lagos will also take questions from media in attendance at the news conference.
The Republic of Chile is the Host of the 2004 APEC Year Chile. Throughout the year Chile will hold a large number of APEC events that will culminate with the APEC Leaders' Meeting in November. Chile is also hosting seven Ministerial Meetings and a number of Senior Officials and Working Group level meetings.
