Description
The Asian crisis has been a central concern for the APEC Community. To address this central concern, the APEC Economic Committee has undertaken this major research project. This project is forward-looking and growth-oriented, focusing on long-term implications of the crisis rather than on a postmortem of the crisis. This Progress Report is prepared, as an early result, for the Ministers’ and Leaders’ meetings in Auckland, September 1999.
