The 'APEC SME 2001 Conference on Strategic Alliances for Efficient Supply Chain Management'  was held from 1 - 3 August 2001 in Bangkok, Thailand. The purpose of this conference was to determine the viability of setting up a network of SCM Support Centers for SMEs within the APEC economies.
