This booklet is one of outcomes of the symposium entitled ‘Traceability in Legal Metrology’ that was held on 30 & 31 October 2003 in Kyoto, Japan. The main target of this symposium so called ‘Traceability in Legal Metrology’ was to design new desirable linkages between legislative demands for measurement and scientific metrological resources, aiming at establishing good partnerships among legal measurements and scientific standards.
