This CD-ROM provides the subset of the “APEC Energy Statistics” by the Energy Working Group, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the data retrieving system.

The CD-ROM contains the energy balance tables, their variations, the major economic indicators -- GDP, population, etc. from 1980 to 2008.

The data series can be updated easily by connecting the APEC Energy Database web site through the Internet with this system. You are recommended strongly to follow the latest data series.

The “APEC Energy Statistics” online database is available from the web site (http://www.ieej.or.jp/egeda/) and the publication is released by the APEC secretariat (http://publications.apec.org/).
