The Daegu Initiative aims to create economic and policy environment conducive to SME innovation in the APEC region and to identify cooperative measures based on voluntary reviews, and the sharing of policy experiences among member economies. This report is intended to provide more detailed guidelines for economies drafting self-assessment reports. This report briefly reviews the intentions behind the Daegu Initiative, and what the Daegu Initiative requires from its members.
