Description

There are various measurements and procedures being used to test the performance of an air conditioner. Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) is currently the one most commonly adopted. The purpose of this project is to develop a common protocol of Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) to reduce such a barrier to the trade of air conditioners. The main output of this project is an analytical platform presented as a software package that evaluates the SEER value for room air conditioners to be tested.

This report includes some papers presented at its Workshop for the Development of SEER held in Chinese Taipei.

  • 1. Introduction
  • 2. Workshop for the Development of SEER
  • 3. SEER Calculation Program for Room Air Conditioners
  • 4. Conclusions
