Description
In 2010, APEC and SEAMEO RELC came together at a seminar, themed "Language Education: An Essential for a Global Economy," that looked at how policy issues involving language and the global economy are closely intertwined. For International Education Week 2010, APEC wiki pages that expanded on the seminar themes were created to provide a guide for educating youth in the critical role of business language - a key cross cultural competency--for strengthening business relations in a global context.
