The project at its Phase One specifically is aimed at addressing Chokepoint 2: Inefficient or inadequate transport infrastructure and lack of cross border physical linkages (e.g. roads, bridges) and Chokepoint 6: underdeveloped multi-modal transport capabilities; inefficient air, land, and multimodal connectivity. The project is aimed at trade facilitation through improvement of infrastructure and innovative means to share best practices among for APEC economies on proper infrastructure use.
