This publication is a summary of presentations made at the project final conference (October 16-17, 2012 Vladivostok, Russia) and also draws on various most infl uential reports on marine power. We designed it to raise awareness among the policy makers and energy practitioners in APEC economies of the tidal power resource and opportunities. A wider audience of interested offi cials and businesses in APEC economies may also benefi t from this concise non-technical reading.
