This report provides a summary of above the workshop. It aimed to identify and share good practices in port security oversight linked to implementing the ISPS Code by discussing the lessons learnt from APEC’s recently-ended Port Security Visit Program and other regional capacity building initiatives as well as opportunities to broaden the scope of the ISPS code’s application within port areas.
