APEC economies take a concrete action to support WHO Global Action Plan and UN General Assembly Political Declaration 2011 to empower community through Community Based Intervention (CBI) while strengthening and reorienting the primary health care system. This framework aims to better understand community based intervention in different settings and also enables to identify approaches and challenges based on experience from several APEC economies.
