The APEC Workshop on Promoting Innovation for Start-ups was held on 2-3 October 2017 in Ha Noi, Viet Nam with the following objectives:

Gain an understanding of the innovation of start-ups in the region, opportunities, challenges and potentials
Identify challenges facing start-ups while pursuing innovation
Share experiences and best practices in facilitating innovation for start-ups from the perspectives of the public and private sectors, international organizations and research institutions
Make recommendations to APEC to support innovation for start-ups
