Description
This report presents the outcome of the Oil and Gas Security Exercise (OGSE) in Peru jointly organized by APERC and Peru’s Ministry of Energy and Mines on 6-8 November 2017. The OGSE in Peru was a ‘blind’ type exercise, in which participants were briefed about hypothetical supply disruptions without prior notice. The report contains the Peruvian participants’ responses to the two emergency scenarios, one for oil and another for gas. The report analyzes the comments and recommendations provided by the Expert Review Team for each scenario. This feedback aims to improve Peru’s response measures, policies, plans, procedures and communication strategies to better face supply emergencies.
