This report aims to provide guidance for selection of suitable coalbed methane (CBM) recovery technologies based on specific geological conditions, and promote cooperation for technology and equipment exchange on CBM recovery among APEC economies. The study further provides a summary and analysis of experiences and mature technologies of CBM development in Australia, Canada, China and the United States.
