This project aims to build the capacity to implement high efficient refrigerator / freezer technologies and policies in the APEC region. The study was conducted based on the outcomes of technical review, relevant APEC work survey, questionnaire research, and an energy saving technology seminar. Through holding workshops to disseminate study results and collect available opinions, this project initiated the experience sharing platform of domestic refrigerator/freezer design for energy issue to improve the information exchange mechanism and technical training within the APEC region.
