Description
In March 2019, in conjunction with the joint meeting of the Expert Groups on New and Renewable Energy Technologies (EGNRET) and Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EGEE&C), the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) organized the Workshop on Supporting Renewable Energy Integration and Energy Efficiency through Effective Regulation. The workshop highlighted the role of the energy regulator in supporting sustainable energy sector development and programs, and facilitated dialogue among APEC economies on regulatory tools and strategies to advance clean energy and energy efficiency goals. This report summarizes case studies presented during the workshop and shares key observations and takeaways.
