This report presents the summary of discussion from the conference held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia under the project, APEC Conference on Cooperation Initiatives for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) Prevention and Control. The conference brought together medical professionals from APEC economies to discuss possible ways to join efforts of APEC medical community in NCDs prevention and control and to develop a certain action plan. The participants presented their initiatives on possible ways to join efforts for effective management of NCDs including their essence, features, ways of implementation, necessary resources, and team in charge of their implementation.
