This project addresses the co-benefitting opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency project for power generation and distribution, transportation, and buildings sector so that cost can be shared to promote project with both renewable energy and energy efficiency benefits. It focuses on sharing of best practices with the development of criteria, framework, and guideline of the joint project evaluation in the future.

The report examines and analyzes joint RE&EE projects among developed and developing APEC economies for guidelines in assessing future joint RE&EE projects to support both APEC RE&EE goals in a more economical way through cost-sharing project implementation.
