Education Guideline 6: Career Roadmap and Competence Requirements for Standards Professionals

This publication presents a career map and competence requirements of standards professionals in companies and in standards-related organizations. Standards professionals are those who have competence to perform a job or tasks related to standardization activities in a company or an organization performing standardization activities. The first part includes career map and competence for standards professionals in companies. The second part includes career map and competence for standards professionals in standards-related organizations. The organizations may include national standards bodies, standards development organizations, and related trade associations and government agencies.
