Description
The study, conducted for the Paperless Trading Sub-Group (PTS), analyzed the benefits of an Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-CO) between exporters in Korea and importers in Chinese Taipei and found that there have been significant benefits to traders in terms of time and cost savings. The study estimates that, on average, exporters experienced a reduction of two days in processing time and total savings of USD 274, while importers experienced a reduction of three days in processing time and total savings of USD 397.
