Description
The BCG Economy Model requires a whole-of-society approach to implement. With APEC’s established status as an incubator of ideas, it can facilitate and foster dialogue and collaboration among the government, private sector, finance sector, academia, and youth to design a conducive ecosystem to transition to sustainable economic practices.
To this end, a roundtable discussion was organized by Thailand to showcase success stories of public-private-people partnerships (4Ps) in advancing the BCG Economy. The participants, including policymakers, private sector, financial institutions, academia, and youth, discussed and shared perspectives on how policies should be shaped to support their work in operationalizing sustainability and responsible business conduct.
