The workshop produced three key publications to support MSME digital transformation and innovation across APEC economies:
- Survey Report: This report highlights MSMEs' digital and innovation readiness, identifying barriers such as limited access to technology and funding, while emphasizing enablers like public-private partnerships and capacity-building programs. Existing support mechanisms from member economies underline the importance of tailored digital and innovation policies.
- Digital Compass: A strategic framework providing actionable guidelines for MSMEs to adopt digital solutions, emphasizing core pillars such as skills enhancement, infrastructure development, and market access. It encourages economies to align policies with this roadmap for long-term growth.
- Innovation Report: This document explores cutting-edge technologies and their integration into MSME operations, showcasing case studies on successful digital innovation. It outlines policy recommendations to foster innovation ecosystems, ensuring MSMEs remain competitive in the global market.
Collectively, these publications serve as comprehensive tools to drive digital and innovative growth among MSMEs in the APEC economies.
