This report presents the results of the interim assessment on APEC’s Supply Chain Connectivity Framework Action Plan against the target of a 10% improvement in supply chain performance in terms of time, costs and uncertainty by 2015. The assessment was carried out based on a three-tracked approach. External indicators assessment found APEC economies have been successful in reducing trade times and trade uncertainty. Internal indicators assessment found that 77% of actions under the Action Plan were completed, representing a good progress. The self-assessment survey acknowledged the benefits brought by carrying out this regional initiative and provided recommendations on moving towards the 10% overall goal in 2015.
