This summary report contains key points and outcomes of the Trade Policy Dialogue on the TFA Category B and C commitments that took place in August 2018 at the margins of Third Senior Officials' Meeting in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Motivated by the evolving trend of international trade practices in which all member countries must comply with WTO commitments at various levels of development, delegates of 20 APEC member economies attended the trade policy dialogue to discuss and understand the TFA Commitments Cat B and C.

The main objective of the Policy Dialogue was to obtain insights from the respective presenters regarding WTO TFA, discuss uncertainties and exchange views and ideas on the way forward to fully implement the TFA measures particularly for the developing member economies.
