The objective of this project is to identify the path of post COVID recovery and attributes to build a sustainable and resilient cruise industry by conducting policy research and a comprehensive dialogue among stakeholders from public and private sectors with expertise in policies, technologies and business through the Workshop. Further, this project’s output supports APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 and priorities of APEC Thailand 2022 in their pursuit of sustainable and inclusive growth. The policy recommendations for guiding economies and cruise industry to obtain better resilience and sustainability were delivered. The recommendations are projected to enhance industry’s resistance and align with the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
