The APEC Future Education Consortium (AFEC) 2024 was successfully held in November in Bangkok, Thailand, under the theme “Fostering Inclusive and Sustainable Talent Development in the Digital Age: Aligning with the APEC 2030 Education Strategy.” The event was co-hosted by the Korean Ministry of Education and Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. AFEC 2024 consisted of three main events: the Steering Committee Meeting (SC), the APEC Future Education Forum (AFEF), and the International ALCoB Conference (AC). This project served as a valuable platform for sharing innovative, future-oriented education policies and practices across the APEC region. Key outcomes included the expansion of participating member economies, sharing the 2025 APEC Korea agenda, strengthening international cooperation, enhancing face-to-face networking, and discussing the future direction of ALCoB.
