Chair’s Statement on the 2025 APEC Ministerial Meeting
Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, 29-30 October 2025

Some delegations expressed their views on the complex geopolitical environment, including recent developments. Other members acknowledged that APEC is not a forum to resolve geopolitical and security issues.

The Chair restated the need to uphold APEC as an effective cooperation platform, based on consensus as its most important tool.
