It includes examples of best practices of implementation of quality infrastructure discussed in the conference and initiatives related to the governance of quality infrastructure in different APEC economies that can be utilized as a reference. It highlights the governance of QI in different APEC economies, as well as challenges of governing their QI. The compendium proposes recommendations regarding initiatives that can be considered by APEC member economies to improve quality infrastructure and strengthen the network between its components, as well as the ways forward for QI to facilitate trade among APEC economies. This document serves as a reference material for APEC member economies to consider different approaches in the governance of QI and to decide on initiatives that work best for their QI.
